The Mandalorian Season 2: 15 Easter Eggs, Secrets & References Explained
11. Ahsoka Tano
If there is one character that everyone was chomping at the bit to show up in this show, it was Ahsoka Tano. While every other mainstay of the Star Wars universe showing up was mostly a surprise - especially that last one - we all knew in the backs of our minds that the greatest contribution to the Star Wars Filoni-verse was going to make an appearance.
Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in the actually kinda terrible Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, and was then better expanded upon in the excellent TV show that came out of it. For seven seasons, we watched Ahsoka go from an inexperienced greenhorn teenager to a confident young woman and incredibly powerful Jedi warrior.
Ahsoka then showed up in the spiritual successor to Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, as one of the founding members of the Rebel Alliance, and one of main character Ezra Bridger's Jedi teachers.
With Dave Filoni having a big role behind the scenes on The Mandalorian, Ahsoka showing up was inevitable. And she did not disappoint.
