The Office: 10 Best Episodes Set Outside Of Dunder Mifflin
6. Booze Cruise (S2E11)
Only Michael Scott would be so desperate to, firstly, take his workers on a booze cruise on a freezing cold lake in the middle of January, and actually try to use that booze cruise as a teaching exercise. The whole thing was never going to work from the start.
He took what is supposed to be nothing but a fun night out and tried to add elements of motivation and education. At least it was fun for the audience, as he made a fool of himself, particularly with the motivational dance competition.
Against Captain Jack, one of the best one episode characters ever in The Office, Michael's jealousy led him to be even more Michael Scott than ever before. It was cringey, it was hard to watch as he ruined the entire cruise and ill-advisedly offered to give Pam away, and even forced one man to jump overboard with his awful speech.
Even after all the stupidity and goofiness from Michael, the episode actually ended with a touching moment between Jim and his boss. Behind all of Michael's ridiculousness, he is actually a sweet guy who cares about his team, and just wanted Jim to be happy.
