The Office: 10 Most Hated Characters
4. Gabe Lewis
When Dunder Mifflin was sold to Jo Bennett and Sabre, Gabe Lewis was introduced to Scranton as something of a bridge between the branch and corporate in Florida. From day one however, he was incredible unlikeable, and he didn't help himself at all.
It was one thing to put a dampener on office games like Pam's caption contest, as this was within the remit of his job, but he had a certain unearned air of cockiness and arrogance around him. He thought himself better than those at Scranton because of his job, and he alienated himself because of it.
For some reason Erin saw enough in him to go out with him, but as a boyfriend he didn't exactly cover himself in glory. He was possessive, he looked down on her and manipulated her because she wasn't as smart as he was, and he seemed to think he was entitled to another chance after they broke up.
A lot of the time it seemed that he was trying too hard to be different and edgy, almost in a similar way to Ryan, though he acted pompous when it came to his hardcore horror movies and hatred of anything mainstream. He was just down right unpleasant.
