6. Great Writers
We already know the cast is solid, talented, funny and works well together, but thats only half the battle. Without a story the cast would be nothing more than bodies on a set, and in order to get a story you need writers. The Office has those, so does every show on TV, but The Offices writers are really good, and were talking REALLY good. NBC has stacked the writers room with the cream of the comedy crop, pros who have scribed stories for The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Mr. Show, and Colbert Report just to name a few. These unsung heroes are the ones tirelessly working behind the scenes to make it all happen, and for nine years theyve done an incredible job. If not for them thered be nothing, no beat farm, no love triangles, no racially insensitive remarks. Its easy to over look the writers, we rarely hear about them, or see them on a talk show, but if anyone deserves praise its without a doubt the writers. Without whom the world would come to a screeching halt, maybe thats a bit much, but without them thered be no show so before moving on through this list take a moment and thank the hardworking writers of The Office who craft the stories that pull on our heart strings and tickle our funny bones week after week.
