The Office Cast: Where Are They Now?
9. Oscar Nunez
Another of The Office’s more grounded characters, wry accountant Oscar Martinez nonetheless manages to get himself into all manner of scrapes over the course of nine seasons. Quick to judge but prone to a gaff of his own, he’s the kind of character it’s always fun to see taken down a peg or two.
Nunez’s first major job out of The Office was Benched, a well reviewed but little watched legal comedy in which he played a colleague of the main character, a disgraced former corporate lawyer. He also did the rounds of the current crop of sitcoms, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl (a rite of passage for Office graduates).
He had a small part in Christopher Guest’s fantastic Netflix movie Mascots, about the world of competitive costumery. Less positively he had a larger role in Dwayne Johnson’s truly awful Baywatch movie, though was lucky enough to be murdered early on.
He can currently be seen in a recurring role on Netflix comedy Mr. Iglesias. Nunez plays Carlos the vice principal in this school-based sitcom; the role of an officious educator is very much in his wheelhouse.
