The Office: Ranking Every Main Character Worst To Best
11. Oscar Martinez
This character was an interesting presence on the show, as he was rather forgettable, but thanks to that was able to create a decent niche in the series. Although Oscar's involvement in the episode's mainline narrative was often subject to minor contributions, he acted as a great eye into the absurdity of the leading figures, thanks to his reserved and believable personality.
As one of Dunder Mifflin's accountants, Oscar had a vital role in the business, and his slightly dull personality was an offset of his job position. Oscar Nunez did a fantastic job of keeping the character engaging whilst still maintaining this sense of boredom.
Oscar became a far more dynamic character in the show after he came out as gay. This helped to add a new perspective to the series and became a superb baseline for narratives and character development. However, despite this new direction for the show, Oscar was a poorly defined character, which made him sink into irrelevancy when compared to the wild and outlandish ensemble cast.
