The actress who portrayed Meredith Palmer on The Office was Kate Flannery in what easily became her most recognised and signature career role. She would later make appearances on the likes of Brooklyn Nine Nine and New Girl but it is as the rather floozy Dunder Mifflin Scranton employee that she will forever be immortalised on screen.
Flannery said of her Meredith role that she had a twisted version of a school teacher in mind for her portrayal. She described her fashion sense as being some kind of “messed up kindergarten teacher." and it’s the character’s problem with alcohol that would lead to getting naked very many times on the show.
In all, Meredith appeared in 186 episodes of The Office: An American Workplace and was at the centre of one of the most famous episodes of the whole series Fun Run, in which a Rabies Awareness Marathon was ran in her honour.
