If you've ever watched American Horror Story or Feud, you'll know that Ryan Murphy shows are capable of pulling off some memorable opening titles. Well, you'll be pleased to know that The Politician is no different.

A wall of empty shelves that is soon filled with medals, bank statements, badges and biographies of former presidents - all the ingredients of the perfect presidential candidate - they are soon revealed to be the interior workings of a wooden mannequin that is carved to perfection before being covered in skin - as if it were the latest Terminator model on a never-ending assembly line. And just as they conclude, we see the finished product: Payton Hobart

Sometimes it's the little things that count, and this was a stunning representation of what we were about to watch: The story of Payton - the perfectly designed politician.
