4. Frank's Weird Sex Dream (Episode 12, "Home")

In the series' penultimate episode, Frank has been captured and is being tortured by Rawlins, but because Frank's mind is a total mess, every hit causes him to experience a dream or flashback of having sex with his wife.

This happens twice throughout the episode as Rawlins beats the snot out of Frank, who is helplessly tied to a chair. As if the association between sex and violence for Frank isn't weird and troubling enough, the sex scene with his wife takes place in an entirely black room with nothing but the pair of them and a bed.

The fact that this scene is apparently supposed to be taken seriously only makes it that much stranger and easier to laugh at. Seriously, what the hell were they thinking here?
