Another famous TV personality to have lent their voice to the Simpsons down the years was Lisa Kudrow, best known for her role as Phoebe Buffay in the hit television sitcom Friends. Kudrow voiced schoolgirl Alex Whitney in the 1998 episode 'Lard of the Dance', who is befriended by Lisa (Simpson, that is) upon her first day at Springfield Elementary.

However, Lisa is later dumped when Alex, with her cell phone, purse and perfume, proves popular with other classmates, and her new-found status elevating her above hanging out with the unfortunate Simpson. Kudrow's most memorable quote from this episode was "DMY! (Don't Mess Yourself)" which means exactly what it implies.
