3. With Nelson In Shelbyville
Hark to the tale of Nelson, and the boy he loved so dear! They remained the best of friends for years and years and years!
Yet another Martin moment aided by Nelson Muntz, this time we see the various Springfield boys team up in Shelbyville to get their lemon tree back. Against Nelson’s wishes, he’s partnered with Martin, and becomes his ‘burly protector’.
Martin grabs a smaller kid and harasses him over his lemonade stall, trying to get a lead on the tree. Martin is in the powerful position for once, but it doesn’t last long as the kid’s big brother soon appears. This is when Martin gives his hilarious shriek for Nelson to come and save him.
Begrudgingly, Nelson shuffles forwards and explains how he wouldn’t usually hang out with someone like Martin, but does indeed save him.
This leads to Martin dancing around Nelson, singing his praises gaily. Nelson swats at the air, but let’s be honest; if he wanted to grab Martin, he would. Martin’s wussiness might be too much for Nelson at times, but they clearly have a bit of a bond going on.
