The Simpsons: 10 Springfield Characters You Totally Forgot Existed
5. Scott Christian
There are many celebrities that live in Springfield, from the likes of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger who spent just a short while there, to those for whom Springfield is truly home. Krusty and Bumblebee Man are genuine TV stars, as well as legendary anchor-man, Kent Brockman.
Mr. Channel Six has a habit of overshadowing his co-stars at times, and while fans will likely remember Arnie Pie for his antics in the helicopter above Springfield, Scott Christian may be another matter. Though he has anchored the news several times, his monotone voice and general boring demeanour have unfortunately made him more than a little forgettable.
His first appearance came when reporting on 'Krusty' robbing the Kwik-E-Mart in season 1, seemingly only given the task because Kent Brockman was off that night. He went on to report on Mr. Burns' campaign for governor, when Homer got stuck in a water slide at Mt. Splashmore, and when Henry Kissinger was hospitalized.
Christian's name was also seen on the DNA database as Homer was pinned for shooting Mr. Burns, but he was never able to live up to Kent Brockman's level, and hasn't been seen or heard from in Springfield since 'The Princess Guide' in season 26.
