The Simpsons: 10 Worst Episodes Ever

8. What To Expect When Bart's Expecting

Simpsons Every Man’s Dream

Where does one even start?

Bart becomes a voodoo sorcerer in this season twenty-five stinker, supernaturally knocking up his art teacher and becoming some kind of pregnancy miracle worker in the process. Beyond an amusing superhero pub crawl with Homer, this episode embodies the worst traits of more recent Simpsons years.

Completely lacking in the sharp satire and witty dialogue that made this show such a hit in the first place, we get lowbrow goofball antics. An odious scene of Ralph exclaiming Bart got the teacher pregnant reminds us Bart is not even a teenager yet (having been ten for thirty plus years).

Recurring mob send-up, Fat Tony makes an appearance, kidnapping Bart in the hopes of using his new powers to breed a perfect thoroughbred horse. None of it is funny, making a twenty-one minute animation feel like a three hour bore.

A cack-handed parody of the considerably funnier Modern Family rounds out this dud. As the credits roll, you're left wondering why you even liked this show in the first place. Writer John Frink should sit in a corner and think about what he's done.

John Cunningham hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
