Each of the show's main kid characters has an almost exact double on the other side, and Milhouse flips his lid after hearing Shelbyville Milhouse say "Radical." Milhouse, kitted out in camouflage, says, "And that kid with the backpack said 'radical'. I say 'radical'. That's my thing that I say. I feel like I'm gonna explode here". At this point, Milhouse begins literally shaking with rage, causing an afraid Todd Flanders to take a cautious step back. Ah, Milhouse, believing that he owns the word "radical", and unable to express his anger in any way that might be considered healthy. Todd's stepping back cements it as a classic moment of hilarious Milhouse weirdness.
