3. Pixel Art Is Not Real Art (Season 26, Episode 14 - My Fare Lady)
This gag comes from one of the very best opening sequences in the history of the show, a gorgeous pixel art rendition of the traditional opening which you can see for yourself here. The chalkboard gag itself is a self-referential nod to the art form, declaring, "pixel art is not real art", resulting in a rare instance where Bart's own opposing viewpoint is clearly the correct one. After all, there's little better evidence of it than this splendid sequence, proof that not all the imagination is gone from the newer episodes.
