The Simpsons: 8 Episodes We Never Got To See

In the early years of The Simpsons, Bart was the show's break-out star, a rebellious daredevil whose behaviour was both controversial and beloved.

Over the course of the show, Bart has done countless terrible things, including killing a bird with a BB gun, ruining Christmas (more than once), and destroying Groundskeeper Willie's life with an over-the-top "prank."

This episode, simply titled "Military School," would have seen Bart take his delinquent behaviour too far, resulting in him being shipped off to a strict military school, where he'd realise the error of his ways and vow to straighten up.

Though it's not known why this episode was scrapped, "Military School" was partially re-vamped years later as the Bart/Lisa-centric episode "The Secret War of Lisa Simpson," which found the siblings working together to beat military camp and combat gender norms. So at least it wasn't a total waste.
