The Simpsons: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

Season 11 gets off to a cracking start with "Beyond Blunderdome," an hysterical and well-realised examination of Hollywood that guest stars Mel Gibson. Things only get better from there, as Bart is diagnosed with ADD, Maggie bonds with her dad, and Homer joins a motorcycle gang called Hell's Satans.

This was also the season that introduced Apu and Manjula's octuplets, killed off Maude Flanders, and perfectly spoofed I Know What You Did Last Summer in a top-tier Halloween special.

There are some episodes that don't work as well, including one where Homer and Grampa make their own tobacco-based drug and another which shows Moe get plastic surgery, but all told season 11 showed that The Simpsons was far from losing its touch.
