The Simpsons: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
28. Season 26
The best moment in this otherwise so-so season is the episode "Simpsorama," the long-awaited crossover between The Simpsons and Futurama. Seeing Homer and Bart interact with Bender is an absolute joy, as is the genuinely effective payoff of the time-bending narrative.
That being said, this is a high in a season of many lows. Though seeing Bart take on his new bully of a teacher offers some decent laughs, and Homer's latest midlife crisis allows for a fun and music-inspired story, season 26 is noticeably lacking that daring edge that used to set the show apart.
Marge gets another random job, and there's an entire episode about Chief Wiggum buying a jetpack.
The laughs are there, but the heart and the risks are lacking, letting the season down.
