4. Will We Get Definite Confirmation That Hargreeves Is An Alien?
With the reveals of Hargreeves' numerous secrets playing a large role in the narrative of the show's first season, and Luther in particular having been affected by such revelations, it's not really too much of a surprise that we didn't get definite confirmation of The Monocle's true nature - it may have simply been one reveal to far.
We got a massive hint that Hargreeves was an alien, with a shot depicting many spaceships leaving the area around his original home. In comparison to the comics however - which revealed this in literally the third page of the series - it will have been a fair while before the reveal is done on-screen (if it even happens at all).
Yet, there is an equally large chance that we will never be explicitly told whether or not the character originates from Earth, especially with the far more grounded tone of the show.
