The Umbrella Academy: 10 Questions Season 3 MUST Answer

Without getting into it too much (because we've got a whole entry for that later on), the Season 2 finale made it pretty clear that the timeline has been changed by the gang's actions in the past. But we didn't need to see the finale to understand that because we were given a few glimpses of those changes throughout.

One of the biggest came when Klaus Hargreeves' long-lost love Dave ended up enlisting for the Vietnam war days before he was actually supposed to, citing his interactions with Klaus as the very reason for doing so (or being forced to do so by his uncle).

That's a pretty specific change to make. Now, it could have been done to lay the groundwork for a future-changing finale but when they had the threat of Vanya's timeline-altering apocalyptic terror looming, it was already clear that time travel could significantly impact the future. With that in mind, it might be worth thinking about the fact that Dave could have survived the war this time around.

All it takes it one little change, so maybe Klaus could have ended up saving Dave's life without even realising it?
