The US Office: 10 Worst Episodes

1. Get The Girl - Season 8 Episode 19

The Office Worst Episode
NBC

In a touching act of spontaneity, Andy leaves the office to drive all the way from Scranton to Florida, in order to try to win back Erin. During his absence, Nellie, who lost her job at the Sabre store, is given a job by Robert California and told to fill an empty desk. With Andy gone, Nellie walks into his office, assuming the role as regional manager. After facing initial pushback from the office staff, she eventually wins them all over (except for Jim) with her promises of perks and raises.

What sucks: Both the A and B storylines are so poorly written. The idea that Nellie could just stroll in and take a job without any pushback from Robert California is devoid of any logic. Sure, the office staff aren't the brightest but it felt like a stretch to assume they'd be so easily fooled by Nellie. Then there's Andy and Erin's storyline. The lack of emotion from Andy's speech in trying to get Erin back didn't leave the audience screaming for them to be together. In fact, she probably would have been better off staying in Florida.

What doesn't suck: Any scene with Irene, the lady Erin is caring for.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
