The US Office: 10 Worst Episodes
2. The Banker - Season 6 Episode 14
After the entire Dunder Mifflin office in New York had been removed, a banker is sent to Scranton to estimate the company's worth for a potential takeover. With the arrival of the banker, Michael does everything in his power to make the office seem like a profitable and well-oiled machine. He shamelessly gives the staff lines to memorise, uses Dwight's voice to pose as Computron - the office's AI bot, and even tries to get rid of Toby Flenderson in case he reveals too much to the auditor.
What sucks: It's a clip show. Nobody likes a clip show. What's so annoying about it is that it starts so promising with Michael's elaborate scheme in full flow and showed that the episode could have been something incredible had they stuck with that idea and let it slowly, yet catastrophically fall apart. Although the clip show is a nice compilation of the best bits from the first 6 seasons, let's just call it what it is: a lazy afternoon in the writer's room.
What doesn't suck: David Costabile as the banker (although he doesn't get much screen time) and the montage of Jim and Pam's blossoming romance.
