The Vampire Diaries Quiz: Who Killed Who?

The Vampire Diaries ended its eight-year reign in 2017 having aired 171 episodes over eight seasons. Throughout the series, fans have learned a variety of things - love, friendship, heartbreak and sacrifice. Through it all, one thing fans for sure learned was death.

The show featured many on-screen deaths, with nearly every main character dying. Yet, not all deaths were ultimately permanent. For some, the series allowed many resurrections, other characters were not so lucky. Once they died, they only came back in ghost form.

However, out of every sad moment in the entire series, the most dramatic and heartbreaking scene was Stefan Salvatore’s sacrifice. This scene made every fan cry. Stefan injected Damon with the cure and sacrificed himself to save Mystic Falls. It may be years, but for most of the fans, the feelings of Stefan’s death are still raw.

Whether out of spite, fear, or love, many of these deaths shocked fans by the sheer brutality of the writers of the series. But just how well do you remember who killed these characters? Only a true fan will be able to remember who killed who during the series.
