The Walking Dead: 10 Best Deaths Of Season 6 So Far

4. Eastman

The Episode: Here's Not Here The fourth episode of the season turned the clock back to get fans caught up on Morgan's journey from the time we'd seen him untethered from sanity back in season three to when we saw him again headed away from Terminus in the fifth season premiere. The character of Eastman helped to bring Morgan "back," as it were, from the edge of insanity, helping instil within him the sense of peace and belief that all life is precious that he's been carrying all season long. While it was inevitable, Eastman got bit near episode's end, sinking the hearts of many of us who'd already grown to love John Carroll Lynch's performance in the span of the single episode. Resigned to his new fate, we didn't have to see his final moment to feel the impact his death had, with the character's final on-screen moments gifting Morgan - and the series - a dose of optimism and hope in the face of struggle that's always welcome amidst such bleak storylines. Also, Eastman's goat, Tabitha, deserves a mention here. Who wasn't sad when Morgan discovered a walker feasting on her corpse?
