8. Rick vs. Cannibals

Fast-forward to Season 5 and you'll see Rick and the gang in a far more hostile world surrounded by enemies who are thriving in the apocalyptic world. Gareth and the rest of his cannibal clan looked like the most comfortable group so far in TWD. They had a secure base, a good team spirit, and plentiful amounts of hearty food. However, as soon as it came to light that they weren't surviving on pork, beef or chicken, the scenes got ugly. Their group warred with Rick and the survivors, and the climax of the storyline came as Gareth begged Rick for mercy. Many would've expected him to offer it, but no, the cannibals were massacred in Gabriel's church. It was bloody and brutal, but the group knew it had to be done, even if they did take their killing rage too far.
