The Walking Dead: 10 Characters You Probably Forgot About

3. Guillermo

Though we got off to a rough start, Guillermo turned out to be one of the nicest guys in the entire series. It's just a shame that he only lasted a few episodes.

Way back in season one, we were introduced to Guillermo, following an altercation between the gang and his men. He was the fearless leader of the Vatos gang -- a group of mindless thugs, hell bent on destruction. Or so we thought.

Like most dramas in Walking Dead, the conflict between the groups here was centered around weapons. They were in short supply and people were becoming desperate. It all came to a head and both groups ended up with a hostage each. The Vatos crew had Glenn and Rick's crew had Miguel.

Upon meeting Guillermo for the first time to discuss their issues, Rick is given an ultimatum: Return the guns and Miguel or there will be bloodshed. Not surprisingly, Rick chose the latter.

The stage was set, as two rival gangs faced off, guns in hand. Absolute carnage was inevitable. Until a nice old lady stepped out and showed Vatos for the softies that they were.

It turned out they were running an old people's home. Following this revelation the groups settled their differences and went their separate ways. You have to watch deleted scenes to see what happened to the gang. I advise you don't.
