4. Daryl

Daryl follows a similar path to redemption as his brother, albeit he was never quite as loathed by the group, and he is a far more accepted member in the latest episodes. He's a loner from a broken family, with an abusive father, and since then he fell into simply following Merle around and watching his life burn to the ground. Daryl begins the show as distant, quiet, sullen, though he was always willing to risk his life for others. While he does still hold some of those traits, he's become a far more crucial part of the group, with a cult fandom, and is Rick's valued friend throughout the challenges they face as well as simply helping each other to survive.
