7. Lizzie/Mika

Lizzie and Mika come as a package so they'll be squeezed into one section. The girls both look completely innocent, and while little Mika (left) is a sweet soul, Lizzie (right) becomes understandably warped by the new world around her. Their storyline culminates with one of the most harrowing Walking Dead scenes of all time, as Lizzie stabs Mika in order to see her come back to life as a walker. She also outlined her plans to kill baby Judith, leading Carol to take drastic action and shoot Lizzie. It's hard-to-watch TV, but it's sensationally done. The story is played out in the comics by Ben and Billy, two young boys, but it's far earlier with the group still in tact and a large debate over how they solve the problem. The TV series navigated the differences very well and justified the decision to change how the arc unfolded.
