The Walking Dead: 10 Reasons It's The Most Annoying Show On TV

2. Characters Make Bad Decisions Over And Over Again

The Walking Dead Rick Grimes One of the attributes we can't forgive in fictional characters is incompetence. In real life, people make mistakes all the time and we forgive them, but in fiction we want our characters to be competent and right and to learn from their mistakes. Characters that screw up, make poor decisions and act illogically over and over again are hard to get behind. The Walking Dead has people like this in spades. In season two, Hershel's decision to keep Walkers on the farm was bound to end badly. But once again, Andrea is the prime example. At the end of season three, she has numerous chances to get away from the Governor and save herself, but she doesn't. Instead of going back with Rick and the gang, she tried to have it both ways, which was never going to work. By the time she was killed, it was hard to feel much sympathy for her, and I'm sure I'm not the only viewer that thought "told you so" when it all went wrong for her.
