5. They Finally Got Rid Of Andrea

I know, it's not exactly a new thing to hate on Andrea, but my god, did he suck. She took up Shane's vacated mantle of indecisive doofus with aplomb, making illogical decision after illogical decision and only stopping to give speeches off the back of a gift card to the Woodbury crowd. It was a terrible waste of one of the comics' most compelling characters, and although the scenes leading up to her death at the hands of a zombified Morton were suitably tense, they couldn't make up for the insane amount of umming and ahhing that had gone into her character make-up. I mean seriously Andrea, why didn't you leave at any point? Yes, there was the excuse about making sure these people remained safe, but the best way to have done that was to liberate them with Rick's help. Instead, she causally kept up a sexual relationship with an obvious psycho, refused numerous opportunities to leave and even failed to follow through on Carol's badass plan to kill him during his post-shag sleep. Again, she just flat-out sucked, so I'm glad her indecisive ass went to the great beyond. If nothing else, this temporarily puts the indecisive doofus crown to bed for a while, and I'm optimistically hoping that nobody's going to pick it back up again. After all, Carl's clearly going mental, Rick seems to have sorted himself out, Tyreese and Michonne are awesome, Hershel's too crippled to get himself into such situations, Daryl is Daryl, and Beth and Carol aren't given much responsibility beyond caring for the baby. The one potential downfall could be that they introduce a new screw-up but until then, I'm quietly optimistic.
