The Walking Dead: 10 Romances We Could Have Done Without

Everyone single one of Rick's relationships has been poor. This is either down to his character or the fact that Andrew Lincoln has zero chemistry with any of his leading ladies. In the comics, Rick isn't as "ick" as he is onscreen and he often comes across as quite likable. This can be seen in his relationship with Jessie.

Rick and Jessie seemingly worked well on paper. It made sense and we believed it. However, on-screen, things didn't really go to plan. The relationship somehow managed to make many people hate Rick even more, especially when he started behaving like a creepy stalker and forgetting that he had a family and kids to look after.

It was like the writers were trying to force it because it had happened in the comics but this time it just didn't work. Plus, the whole Rick and Jessie thing prevented the pairing of Rick and Michonne or what fans like to refer to as "Richonne". Sadly, that didnt seem to work well either.

Hopefully, one day, Rick will find his perfect match, although we aren't holding our breath.
