The Walking Dead: 10 Things Season 6 Has Got Right (So Far)

4. Real Time

At the end of the day, The Walking Dead is a zombie show. People die, people survive, people get into awful situations, bad guys come, bad guys go, and that's how it will progress until the very end. There's nothing wrong with the basic premise of that, but any fresh ideas to breathe new life into the show are always welcome. Season 6 brought a real-time look at the world of Walking Dead, with each episode cleverly linked to those either side of it. This brought structure, like the black and white flashbacks, to the show and clearly gave an impression of the timeline. It's often tough to grasp how long each season lasts in their world, but Season 6 has all featured within a 24-hour time period, a new way to follow the action.
