The Walking Dead: 10 Things That Could Happen Next (According To The Comics)

2. So Much More Death

But before that delicious omelette can be made, you have to break a few eggs. Meaning heads. Meaning hearts. The Walking Dead almost has Game Of Thrones beat for sudden and brutal character deaths, and the creators seem to get a similar kick out of slaughtering fan-favourite characters. The series is more honour-bound (and legally-bound) by actor's contracts than the comics, but still €“ don't expect anybody to be safe going forward. Especially going on what a bloodbath the comics have been. In fact those clamouring for the introduction of Negan might be a little less jazzed if it means the faithful rendering of one of his character-defining moments: beating Glenn's head in with a baseball bat after confronting Rick about his rebelling from The Saviours' protection racket, killing him. That was sad. Abraham bites it around the same time in the comics, shot through the eye with an arrow by another Saviour called Dwight. Eric, boyfriend of the recently-introduced Aaron in the TV show, also loses his life to The Saviours in the comics. And if the source material is followed the recently-returned Morgan is gonna be zombie show soon, so look forward to that unfortunate, untimely demise!
