The Walking Dead: 10 Things That Could Happen Next (According To The Comics)

1. All Out War

Most of the major deaths in the comics were the result of one particular story line, and if The Walking Dead TV series follows all of the other plot points on this list, they're almost certainly going to be building to this bloody climax. The All Out War arc was the result of Rick's leading of Alexandria, meeting up with The Kingdom and Hilltop, and being informed of The Saviours and there protection/supplies racket. And Rick being none too happy about the arrangement, or their methods. The death of Glenn is basically the catalyst for one of the biggest story lines in the comics so far, and one which would be both unique and really, really cool on the small screen: the settlements banding together to launch an attack on The Saviours. It's basically a guerilla war story told in a zombie apocalypse, mainly focussed on humans untethered by laws bashing each other's head in, with the occasional walker intervention. All Out War in the comics saw the deaths of many major characters, and set the stage for the time jump which cleaned the slate and provided a new status quo. Besides offering a pretty rad bunch of scenes for the TV show to crib, it'd also be a neat little arc to deploy if they ever find the need to change up the cast €“ for contractual or budget reasons €“ by killing off...well, whoever they needed to. So long as it isn't Glenn. You killed of Andrea when the comics didn't, so the cosmic balance is kept in check. Don't kill of Glenn, curse you. Surely you're not as sadistic as Kirkman. Don't answer that.
