The Walking Dead: 10 Things We Have To See In The Final Season
2. Negan Vs. Maggie
One of the most promising draws of the final season is the tension between Maggie and Negan, who infamously bludgeoned her husband Glenn to death whilst she was pregnant.
Negan's imprisonment in Alexandria played a big part in her decision to leave the communities, and in her absence - much to her chagrin - Negan has become a valuable and mostly redeemed member of the team.
The season ten finale in particular hammered this point home, as audiences were given the chance to see Negan's origin story in an episode that might just be the show's best of its later years. In the episode, we got to see every tragic, evil and miserably pathetic side of Negan as he confronted his past, burned his sacred bat, and seemed to prepare himself for a new life.
But Maggie's back for good now, and seems ready to finally enact some revenge. Whether she gets the chance to kill him or they somehow find a way to work side-by-side and see how much they've grown, we'll have to wait and see, but it promises to be one hell of a showdown whatever happens.
