The Walking Dead: 11 Major Moments From The Comics We Still Need To See

A major change from the comics to the TV show in season 7 of The Walking Dead was the introduction of Oceanside. Not established in the book until well after the events of All Out War, the settlement can only be accessed by boat, with the main broker of trust between the community and Alexandria being Michonne.

Enjoying self-imposed isolation on the seas, the character is nowhere to be seen for a large chunk of the story following the climax of All Out War, breaking off from Rick's group and regressing into her hardened, cold-hearted persona. While this storyline is interesting however, it would be the drastic change in scenery that would be missed the most if the storyline wasn't translated over to the screen.

Unfortunately, we've seen Oceanside already and there's not much to distinguish it from the other settlements in the show apart from a beachfront, so the chances of seeing this part of the source material adapted properly seems slim.

Likewise it's probably unlikely that AMC would fork out the cash to let Michonne go sailing on the high seas, and the TV version of the character has already taken over the role Andrea played in the comics anyway, so this storyline might end up being cut altogether.
