10. The Last Of Us/Walking Dead House
This Easter Egg comes from the brilliant and critically lauded Walking Dead video game, which emerged as one of the ever-presents on a lot of gamers' lists of Game Of The Year. As is invariably the case with two properties with similar underlying themes (of post-apocalyptic survival predominantly, and the interplay of character dynamics) the internet went to town comparing The Walking Dead (both the game and the TV show) with The Last Of Us to see which was the ultimate misery opera of recent times. A winner, predictably, was hard to determine. One eagle-eyed Reddit user took the link between the two properties even further, by suggesting that The Last Of Us featured an in-game homage to The Walking Dead in some of the world's architecture. Drawing comparisons between an abandoned house in each game, the user mapped some similarities, including the tree house and pool in the backyard, and the general lay-out of the house interior.
