And if you weren't wholly sure that the show was toying with you and leading you to believe that The Wolves should be familiar to comic book readers, the graffiti that announced their presence was a direct reference back to The Scavengers' appearance in the comics. It seems most likely that The Wolves will be an amalgamation of the two groups (or possibly even more), allowing the show to expand the role of The Scavengers, who didn't actually appear in the comics for a long run, and condensing two good villainous presences to make one super-villain group.
