The Walking Dead: 6 Things "Try" Got Right (And 4 It Didn't)

2. Sick Of Playing Defence

So Sasha's storyline has been...a little difficult to comprehend. Clearly the show is trying to suggest she's suffering some sort of PTSD, opting not to get involved with any of this civilised Alexandria business in favour of heading outside the walls to shoot down walkers. Which is all well and good, but the point of the Safe Zone is to stay inside and face enemies as they come, rather than going out in search of them. That just seems like asking for trouble. Whilst the PTSD angle hasn't really come off very well €“ partly because, like, why would she been any more traumatised than anyone else on the show, and also because it's been way too heavy handed and brought it on way too quickly, a Walking Dead staple €“ Sasha's desire to take the fight to the enemy was refreshing. The Walking Dead started with the main cast immediately on the back foot, trying to get their bearings, being reactive rather than active. Now, they're in a position where they can deal with the zombie plague pretty easily, and so Sasha claiming that she's €œsick of playing defence€ rings very true. Why not get out there and, well, maybe try and put an end to this whole thing?
