The Walking Dead: 6 Things "What Happened And What's Going On" Got Right (And 4 It Didn't)

1. The High Cost Of Living

Whilst looking forward to what's coming up next, this episode also didn't forget where it came from. Besides Glenn's reminiscing about Terminus and Woodbury, the show also placed itself in the context of everyone they'd lost during Tyreese's monologue/last-minute character development to Noah at the start of the episode. Whilst Tyreese wasn't talking explicitly about the high cost of living for the characters €“ instead he was babbling on about appreciating the ability to live in a war-free, relatively progressive and safe country pre-zombie apocalypse €“ it really hit home that, whilst the current group's pretty large and together, nobody's safe. Not only that, but they're only there because so many have died. In both the group and on the side of their enemies, much blood has been spilled in order for The Rick Grimes Globetrotters to continue their slow march towards survival, and Tyreese putting it in such a way did a better job at eulogising Beth (and every other dead character so far) than a full funeral scene would've. Which just about made up for the all the crap Tyreese brought down on €œWhat Happened And What's Going On€...
