Something to bear in mind during a zombie apocalypse is that you should never have long hair, because zombies can grab it. Looking at you, Eugene. Oh also, things can always get worse. Most of this season so far has shown the Rick Grimes And The Bluesbreakers doing rather well for themselves, finding cool places to hang out and dispatching the undead with ease. Still, this episode the wily little so-and-so who took half the group on a wild goose chase towards Washington DC expressed the opinion that, truly, he could not see how things could get worse. He immediately got shut down, because that is a silly opinion, and also the show wants you to keep watching. Really, though, viewers have been through so much watching this group that they were probably of a similar mindset to Eugene. How could things get any worse for this lot? The scene was as much reassuring the audience as Eugene that there's still plenty of trials and tribulations ahead.
