The Walking Dead: 7 Things "Them" Got Right (And 3 It Didn't)

1. A Miracle

The moment when the heavens open €“ exactly at the point when the gang has come across a set of water bottles in the middle of the road, and are debating whether they've been provided by good Samaritans or might otherwise be a trap, poison, or something else €“ might have seemed a little too convenient but, well, it's a moment that's long been needed in the show. Whilst things have indeed been working out well for Rick Grimes And The Hooligans in the fifth season so far, sure, but as Micchone commented on last week, there's a difference between just getting by and actually living. They've been surviving, true, but there's not been a whole lot of reason for them to keep going. Losing Beth and Eugene's promises of a cure both dying around the same time seemed like the last two glimmers of hope being extinguished for the group. That miracle rain fall for the thirsty group €“ followed by the appearance of new, apparently friendly survivor Aaron €“ give them a reason to hold on. And for audiences to keep tuning in. But it wasn't all perfect...
