3. Remember That Baby?

Haha oh yeah, remember when Lori had a baby? That seems like such a long time ago. Then she popped her clogs and it remained up to Rick to raise the sprog on his own, although most times the kid has been glimpsed since it's been in the custody of Carl Grimes or Micchone. Even those appearances have been few and far between, the baby making its last appearance... ...Actually, when did Judith Grimes last appear? Probably that time Carl and Micchone were battening down the hatches at the church, sometime in the first half of this season. Even that was barely a cameo for the kid. Obviously having a baby in such a difficult situation means a) viewers don't wanna think about it, and b) filming is difficult, but still. Maybe Rick is keeping his distance because of that whole uncertain parentage thing, but it seems odd to hold such a grudge when both others involved are long gone. Really, though, it's just an example of how the writers struggle to give the entire ensemble screen time. And then have to clunkingly remind you, oh yeah, there's a literal baby in the group!
