The Walking Dead: 8 Things "Forget" Got Right (And 2 It Didn't)

The Good...

8. Maybe The Zombie Apocalypse Isn't So Bad!

One of the other threads that has been running through this season is the idea of what the group are actually struggling towards. Surely just surviving isn't the ultimate goal? All of them want to bring back some semblance of a normal life, of civilisation, of not sitting and watching Daryl eat his spaghetti like that again, right? Michonne brought it up to Rick, and it's a concept that's been found to be somewhat flawed with the Terminus group (they ate people) and the hospital Beth died in (it was a weird totalitarian police state). In the Alexandria Safe-Zone, though, it looks like the dream might actually be real. It was even pointed out in €œForget€ that the creation of these new communities thanks to the zombie apocalypse is a blessing rather than a curse, bringing together people who might never have been friends before. Sort of a nice way to look at the whole sorry mess, really.
