Lance Hornsby, the Commonwealth's narcissistic second-in-command, burst onto the scene in the final season, and instantly started scheming to acquire more power.

Cold and untrustworthy, he made for a fun side villain, causing chaos wherever he went and pitting the Survivors against each other for his own gain. It was entertaining whilst it lasted, his vital flaw being that he's dispatched far too early.

Killed by Carol to make way for Pamela's place as the show's final foe, Hornsby was ultimately a wasted opportunity, despite the thrilling carnage he brought to the table whilst he was alive.
