The Walking Dead: Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

Despite being far removed from his comic counterpart, Tom Payne's Jesus was a great character. He was the best fighter of the Survivors and had a moral compass few others on the show possessed. He was also a compassionate leader, and refused to lose himself to war.

It was a shame, then, when he was underused in the All Out War storyline and season nine.

His entire final arc revolves around him forming a would-be brilliant relationship with Aaron, only to be killed to make way for the Whisperers. It was a cool death, but it’s a shame he was so casually tossed aside.
