Following on from the season's most emotionally draining episode, Us finds Glenn and Tara one step closer to finally finding Maggie after the fall of the prison. It also grapples with Daryl's involvement with a new group called the Claimers.
Tying up numerous loose ends, reuniting Glenn and Maggie, and introducing the group to Terminus - the supposed "sanctuary" the Survivors have been travelling toward throughout the back-half of the season - Us is rife with emotional payoffs but relatively low on stakes.
It's great to see so many characters interacting after such low-key episodes, but it still feels decidedly safe and uneventful outside of the reunion at its core. Ultimately, the whole thing is little more than set-up for the season's harrowing finale.
