The Walking Dead: Every Season 4 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

13. Alone

The Walking Dead Alone Daryl
AMC

Alone opens with a haunting look into the past of the uber-likeable Bob Stookey, and spends the rest of its run dealing with his desire to never be alone again. It also gives more insight into the relationship between Daryl and Beth, which ends in tragedy.

The Daryl/Beth arc is easily the most compelling aspect of the episode, as the stoic bowman finds himself opening up like never before, just before Beth is mysteriously kidnapped after a walker attack.

The other side of the story, which deals with Bob and Sasha's attempts to catch-up with a rogue Maggie, is much less engaging and suffers from Sasha's unbelievable character development, but the heartwarming ending and Daryl's attempts to find Beth make it a solid episode overall.
