The Walking Dead: Every Season 5 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

10. Remember

The Walking Dead Conquer
AMC

For a long time, Rick and the Survivors had been cast adrift, tired, untrusting, and lost. In Remember, after a few calamitous clashes with the dead, they finally find shelter at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, a community they don't entirely trust but can't believe exists.

Throughout the episode, Rick and the group are individually interviewed by series newcomer Deanna Monroe, each getting a chance to tell their stories and let the audience know where they're at mentally.

It's more of a slow, studied episode than an action-packed one, but boasts striking development courtesy of Rick's increased lack of trust, Glenn and Tara's new jobs as community scavengers, and the introduction of the doomed Monroe and Anderson families.

Mostly set-up for the rest of the more plot-driven season, Remember is an intriguing character study that promises big things going forward.
