11. Twice As Far
Twice as Far is a mixed bag, following Daryl, Rosita and Denise as they go on an ill-fated run, and Abraham and Eugene as they go on their own risky mission and find themselves forced to confront their fractured relationship.
On the one hand, the development of Daryl, Rosita and Denise makes for very compelling viewing, especially since they're three characters rarely given the chance to interact. On the other hand, though, the entire story is ruined by Denise's senseless and cruel death, which doesn't offer anything to the show.
Similarly, Abraham and Eugene's growth is very well highlighted, but they're barely around, and the rest of the episode is thrown completely off-balance by Carol's decision to run away from home, which has no build-up and instantly makes her development feel both forced and quite frankly boring.
